Kelly Goorts is a graduate of Georgian College, where she completed her Acupuncture Degree, as well as a Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner Degree. She is a Registered Acupuncturist in good standing with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO).
Kelly has enjoyed her time at Georgian College, so much so that she never left the school, she has continued her time thereby becoming a Teacher’s Assistant and helps support future acupuncturists during their clinic hours. The love of learning is seen in her teaching, but also all the additional courses she continues to take, especially when it comes to cupping, a modality she offers many of her patients during treatments.
In her practice, Kelly’s areas of focus lie in musculoskeletal pain and injury, stress and anxiety, and women’s health issues. However, with the whole-body approach of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, every problem has the potential to be addressed, so her practice is not limited to these aspects alone.
When you come in for treatment with Kelly, you will experience a calm atmosphere of healing, an attentive and listening ear, and the gentle, effective approach of providing therapy and care for her patients.
In her spare time, Kelly enjoys hiking and going on adventures as she loves to travel and explore new cities and cultures in Canada and around the world. When she isn’t travelling, you can find Kelly creating unforgettable memories with her two nieces and nephew.
